Welcome to BBC Headroom in partnership with North West Regional College
Life is full of ups and downs, so the BBC has created BBC Headroom, (www.bbc.co.uk/headroom) a campaign to help you cope with the everyday stresses and strains of life and provide a safe place to start finding answers to more complex problems.
North West Regional College is delighted to be the first BBC Headroom College.
Over the coming year students from the College will contribute short films, animations, radio pieces, photographs and journalistic pieces to the North West Regional College / BBC Headroom web pages – some serious, some humorous, but all giving a unique Northern Ireland take on promoting good mental health.
Across the college community, from healthy eating guides prepared by the School for Hospitality & Catering, to hints and tips from our Health & Social Care students, Hair & Beauty Academy, and Sports courses, students and staff are joining together to a showcase our practical and creative talent to promote the BBC Headroom 'Unwind Your Mind' message.
The work of the College’s Media & Journalism students was chosen to launch the BBC Headroom campaign in Northern Ireland, and featured live on Radio Ulster’s Across the Line in March - now we are taking it to the max in partnership with BBC Headroom.
