Western Innovation Network (WIN)

The Western Innovation Network (WIN) is an interconnected suite of programmes designed to promote and deliver innovation within the SME sector to the Western Counties of Londonderry, Tyrone and Fermanagh. All support is free to participating companies. In conjunction with Manufacturing Technology Partnership (MTP) and other local FE colleges the North West Regional College is offering the following support programmes:

WIN Clinics

Have you an idea for a new product, process or service?

An Innovation Clinic is held each month in North West Regional College. The clinics are open to anyone who has an idea for a new product, process or service. At the clinic you will:

  • Get expert advice on your business idea
  • Help to move your innovative ideas forward
  • Receive a technical appraisal
  • Guidance in identifying support available to assist with development

WIN Management Techniques

The programme is for small businesses in engineering or general manufacturing. It is delivered by innovation experts from FE Colleges, MTP and its partners.

What is Involved?

  • Innovation Audit and Innovation Development Plan
  • Series of Innovation Workshops - 6 for each cluster
  • Series of Best Practice Seminars
  • Series of Best Practice Visits
  • 6 x ?day mentoring with each company
  • Progress review against plan
