Women in STEM & Digital Technologies

This Women in STEM and Digital Technologies Conference is a new initiative aimed at encouraging more women, particularly young graduates of STEM and Digital Technologies courses, to become entrepreneurs in the sector. Women who have established businesses will share their journey from start-up to success while elaborating on difficulties overcome and opportunities identified. In addition it will include a valuable networking opportunity with successful women working in these sectors to identify sources of investment and/or mentors. The event will offer an opportunity to discuss the latest trends in digital technologies and employment opportunities for graduates in the STEM subjects.

The Women in STEM and Digital Technologies Conference will be held on March 22 in the North West Regional College Student Zone, Foyle Building Derry~Londonderry.

The conference will also incorporate breakout areas where audience members can speak directly to possible investors/partners/mentors

The target audience includes tech and STEM business start-ups, representatives from other educational institutions, business, industry and schools.
