The College has developed a wide range of Higher Education (HE) programmes, delivered on a Full-Time and Part-Time basis. We offer Honours Degrees, Foundation Degrees, Higher Level Apprenticeships, Higher National Diplomas /Certificates and a range of Professional Programmes. We develop our Higher Education provision through consultation with employers so that course options, content, and practical experience are directly related to the skills and knowledge required by industry.  This ensures our graduates are best prepared for the world of work.

Our courses are run by enthusiastic, professional tutors with real industry experience and delivered in state-of-the-art facilities and campuses. Our friendly and dedicated support staff are always on hand to provide advice and guidance.

As a College, we are very excited about the range of higher education course options that we are offering in 2019-20. Some of the key benefits learners can expect to avail of include:

  • LOWER COSTS
    With significantly lower tuition fees than university many students are choosing to study Higher Education at North West Regional College, allowing them to live close to home and reduce travel and maintenance costs. Many of our Part-Time courses also offer reduced tuition fees for those receiving benefits (conditions apply).
  • STUDENT FINANCE
    We offer attractive financial incentives to students during their studies. These include: maintenance grants, college bursaries, hardship funds and childcare vouchers (terms & conditions apply).
  • WORK EXPERIENCE
    Many of our courses include practical work experience, allowing students to gain advantage in the jobs market. Some courses also offer students the chance to work and study abroad.
  • FLEXIBLE PAYMENT OPTIONS
    For students studying Part-Time you may be able to eligible to pay for your course in affordable monthly instalments.
  • PROGRESSION OPPORTUNITIES
    In 2018 more than 650 NWRC graduates secured places at over 80 universities throughout the UK and Ireland, while many more found employment locally, regionally and internationally.

We now have an extensive range of Foundation Degree and Higher Level Apprenticeship programmes on offer, which are validated and partnered by our colleagues at Ulster University, Queens University Belfast and other leading third level institutions.
