Applying for your full-time course

Places on our courses may be offered firstly to those who apply as follows:
Higher Education courses (HND & Foundation Degree) by 30th March 2012
Further Education courses (all other courses including Level 2 Diploma, Level 3 Diploma, NVQ, etc) by 24th August 2012

Once you've decided on the course that you're interested in, the next step is to submit your application to the College. We don't have a closing date for applications*, but the earlier you send in your application, the more chance there is that we will have a place for you - many of our courses are very popular so the earlier you apply, the better.

If you are unsure about which course would suit you best, contact the College's Careers Advisers, who will help you find the best option for you.

  2. Download our application form, or use the one printed in the back of the prospectus.
  3. Complete all details on the form fully - inlcuding the full name of the course. You can also apply for a 2nd choice course, which you would consider if places are limited on your 1st choice programme. You are encouraged to attach any relevant information which you feel will support your application.
  4. Return the completed form to the Admissions Office as soon as you can. The address is on the bottom of the form. Don't forget to sign it!

If your chosen course is offered at more than one of our campuses, please ensure you state on the form which campus you would like to study at. Where a course is offered at more than one of our campuses, there may only be sufficient enrolments to offer it at one location. In this case students may be offered the opportunity to undertake the programme at an alternative College campus than their first choice.

* For the BSc Honours Degree in Social Work you must apply through UCAS and adhere to their closing dates. Don't forget to find out about any fees for the course, and the financial assistance you may be entitled to.
