Library & Learning Resource Centre

The Library/Learning Resource Centre is central to all the college's academic activities, and is here to support learning and teaching.

The LLRC at North West Regional College provides a comprehensive service to staff and students across all 3 main campuses:

  • Northland Library at the Strand Road Campus
  • Limavady Campus Library
  • Strabane Campus Library
  • Learning Resource Centre (LRC) in the Tower Building, Strand Road

All new students receive an induction to the Library Service and all full-time and part-time students may enrol as a library user allowing them to borrow books from any of our libraries.

Friday 9.00am - 4.00pm
Vacation :
Monday - Thursday  9am - 1pm ; 2pm - 5pm
Friday 9am - 1pm ; 2pm - 4pm

Learning Resource Centre (Tower Building - Strand Road)

Monday - Thursday 9.00am - 5.00pm
Friday 9.00am - 1.00pm
Vacation : Closed

LIMAVADY LIBRARY
Term-time opening hours:
Monday/ Wednesday & Thursday 8.30am - 4.30 pm
Tuesday 8.30am - 8.00 pm
Friday 8.30 am - 4.00 pm
Vacation : Closed

STRABANE LIBRARY
Term-time opening hours:
Monday - Thursday 9.30am - 12.30pm & 1pm - 4.15pm
Friday 9am - 2.30pm
Vacation : Closed

  • LISC INSPIRE - The College is a member of the LISC Inspire Scheme. LISC Inspire enables students to access books and journals from a consortium of libraries in the North West area and beyond. Participating Libraries include NWRC, Magee (UU) Altnagelvin Trust Library and WELB. Students can apply for a LISC Inspire passport at any of the college's libraries.
