Apply to North West Regional College

To be accepted on one of our full time academic courses, you need;

  • A good standard of English (see table below)
  • Have qualifications that satisfy your chosen course entry requirements
  • Aged 18+ (overseas only)

If English is not your first language you need to demonstrate that you’re written and spoken English is adequate for the programme that you want to study. Most International Students submit scores in either the British Council IELTS test or the American TOEFL test.

Before making your application, please make sure that:

  • You know which courses you are applying for, remember you can apply for 2 courses in your application;
  • You are clear about the entry requirements on the courses, such as IELTS;
  • You have copies of your previous education records ready, remember to only send your most up to date education records;
  • You have a reference or recommendation relevant to your application from your work place if you have been working in the past.

Once you have prepared for the above, simply follow the steps below to make your application:

  1. Fill in the International Application Form and send to us with the other background information as mentioned above;
  2. You will be required to make contact with the college course co coordinator, who will decide whether you will be accepted onto the course;
  3. If you meet the entry requirements you will receive an offer letter and instructions on how to pay your deposit;
  4. Confirm your acceptance of the offer as soon as you receive it and make arrangements for the deposit payment;
  5. We will then forward you CAS information to support your visa application which you must make via the UK Border Agency
  6. If your visa application is successful you must then pay the College the residue of the course fees
  7. Liaise with the College’s Student Services Staff regarding accommodation;
  8. Inform Student Services of arrival details and indicate if you require an airport pick-up service;
  9. Enrol at College and join the course induction week.

Please be aware that your application may be delayed if you don’t provide all the documents required.

Please also note that your visa application will be delayed if you don’t confirm your acceptance to the college in time.
