Stilt-walkers Brian and Davy give the thumbs-up during the fun at Freshers Day at the College's Strand Road Campus

More Freshers Day Enjoyment at Strand Road

Students from our campuses in Derry/Londonderry and Strabane followed their friends at our Limavady campus by taking part in the College's annual Freshers Day events today. Like yesterday at Limavady, over 40 exhibitors visited our Strand Road campus to hand out useful and entertaining materials to help students prepare for the year ahead.

A spokesperson for the College praised the students who took full advantage of the Freshers Days:
“I am delighted to see so many of our students engaging with the local agencies and organisations here. It is wonderful to discover that some have signed up to volunteer for local charities, as well the range of college clubs and societies, and have taken on board the advice on offer today. We are very grateful to all the exhibitors for arranging special offers for our students, and for taking the time to be with us today”.
