Students' Union
The Students' Union exists to promote the general welfare of all students; encourage student societies, sports and social activities; and act as a channel of communication between students and managers of the College and other bodies.
Membership is open to all North West Regional College students, who are encouraged to take a responsible part in arranging the Union programme and to support its activities. Students' Union members enjoy USIT benefits, such as travel etc. Class representatives are elected at the beginning of each session.
A word from our Students’ Union President:
PJ McGinnis
Hi I’m PJ McGinnis, the current Student Union President at North West Regional College. I’m proud to represent the students across all College’s campuses. My main role is to act as the link between the student body and College management. But that's not all I do! With the Student Council, I organise a range of activities that interest students. The Student Council is a place for students to voice their views on what they want to see happen – what you suggest might just be put into action! It’s also a great way to meet new people. I advise all students to get involved!
I chose this College because it offers students so many opportunities for the future, as well as a broader student experience than you might find elsewhere. This is a lively, vibrant and exciting place to study - join us and get involved in the fun!
Students Council
The Students' Council acts as a channel of communication between students and managers of the College. An elected student sits on the Governing Body.
