Part-Time Fees & Finance
The tuition fee for each Part-Time course can be found on the course description page or in the Part-Time Prospectus. In addition to the tuition fee there may also be an additional fee (exam/registration fees or material costs) which may be subject to change.
The Concessionary Fee shown is the tuition fee you will pay if you are entitled to a reduced fee - see below.
Tuition and material fees must be paid on enrolment. The College offers a fee payment instalment plan - this applies only to tuition fees. Exam fees are payable as per Exam Body and College Administration deadlines - usually within the first term.
Pay in Instalments
If your tuition fee is more than £100 you may pay a deposit of the lower of 40% of the fee, or £100, and the balance in instalments as outlined as follows:
| Less than or equal to £100 | Full fee payable on enrolment | ||
| £101 - £400 | Lower of £100 or 40% of fee NB: Minimum Deposit -£100 |
3 | Minimum monthly direct debit £50 |
| More than £400 | Lower of £100 or 40% of fee | 4 | |
Note: Anyone wishing to pay by instalments must set up a direct debit. Payments will be debited on the 5th of each month, commencing the month after enrolment.
Exam Fee / Qualifications
Students will have to pay a £2.00 administration fee on top of their exam fee for all qualifications.
Fee Refunds
Fees will be refunded in full if the College cancels a course. If you are unable to continue with your course for medical reasons, then a refund may be allowed. In this case, a £10 administration fee will be charged.
Fee Waiver
In exceptional circumstances the Director may waive fees due.
Reduced Fees
Reduced fees (or Consessionary Fees) are offered to those who meet the criteria outlined in the table below. If you qualify, you must show the necessary evidence at the time of enrolment. Otherwise you will have to pay full fee to secure your place.
Unpaid Fees
Any fee unpaid 90 days after the due date may be passed to a Debt Collection Agency, and your access to College facilities may be withdrawn. You may also be invited to leave your course. You will not be allowed to enrol on any new course at the College until all previous outstanding fees are paid in full.

Entitlement to the grants will depend on your income and that of your husband, wife or partner and there is no age limit for this support.
Your local Student Finance NI office will work out how much support you can get. You will not have to repay this help.
Students who already have a degree cannot normally apply for this support.
