Making the Right Choice
We want to help young people to find the best course for them, at a level that works for their current abilities and career ambitions. To help them understand the opportunities and make informed choices about their future, we work with local schools and youth organisations to talk to young people about college life, subjects and qualifications.

Talks and Presentations
Each year, we invite local schools and interested individuals to engage with us to be informed on the exciting course offering available at NWRC. This can be arranged for a date and time convenient to you, each academic year.
For convenience, and due to the challenging schedules of our prospective students, we can arrange for a number of different mediums to be made available to ensure you and your students remain informed of all the various options we have available.
- A visit by NWRC staff to your school to make a presentation;
- Live online delivery of the presentation;
- A downloadable/viewable format of the presentation with accompanying voiceover – available via the link below
All three mediums include a general overview of the student experience at North West Regional College, together with detailed guidance on Further and Higher Education options, course content and entry requirements for September 2021.
With so many options available it can be difficult to know where to start when advising someone about their next steps. To help with this we have created a series of resources, including downloadable presentations, handouts and short video clips for schools to use within their own classrooms.
