University of Ulster, Belfast Metropolitan College, North West Regional College and Southern Regional College have been selected by industry to be in a network of creative media excellence. They are part of one of only 17 centres in the world to be a Skillset Media Academy. These nurture the next generation of top talent that will create the Bebos, broadcasts, films and other media content of the future. Students on Academy courses have access to excellent industry placements, master classes and special UK and Ireland-wide events.
North West Regional College is a Centre of Excellence for Journalism - Awarded by the Newspaper Qualifications Council.
The College is also a partner in the Northern Ireland Skillset Media Academy.
