Let's Do Business
Management and staff across the Hospitality and Tourism sector have been under huge strain since the beginning of the pandemic. As identified by industry representatives, funded by the Department for the Economy (DfE), and delivered in partnership across NI FE Colleges including North West Regional College, this free programme has been designed to provide a skills-led approach to supporting managers as they move through the pandemic restrictions into recovery in the year ahead.

Leadership and Management Qualification
Achieve a Level 3 qualification in Leadership and Management
- Designed and contextualised learning for Hospitality and Tourism managers
- Up to six online courses available that vary in days/times of learning
- Fully funded for eligible companies

Lecturer Bio
Kevin Doherty has more than 25 years’ experience in senior management roles including as a Director and CEO. He has a wealth of experience in the tourism and hospitality sector working in leadership and management roles in prominent businesses in Northern Ireland. These roles range from General Manager through to Marketing and Business Director.
Kevin also has experience delivering a wide range of quality and performance improvement initiatives including EFQM and IIP accreditation and has also implemented AA 4 Star and Red Rosette.
As well as lecturing for North West Regional College, Kevin is the NW Director for Business in the Community.
Over the past 12 months Kevin has delivered several ILM courses to nearly 200 leaders and managers across Northern Ireland.
The ILM Programme will be contextualised for the sector, and Kevin will also introduce you to leading international tourism and hospitality leaders and managers from across the globe.
