Course Overview

L4 Higher Award in Administrative Procedures with ICT is an introduction to the OCR suite of qualifications at this level. It will provide you with the knowledge and understanding to undertake the core units which are the practical, hands-on learning experience to develop some of your supervisory skills through actual senior and supervisory activities in a realistic working environment in the College setting. You will undertake study in the following areas: Working in a senior administrative role, supervising a team of staff, train and develop staff, chair a meeting and organise an event whilst enhancing your ICT skills. This vocational qualification is assessed by College-based OCR assignments.

A relevant Level 3 qualification. Interview prior to admission.

Additional Information

Students can progress onto the Certificate or top-up Diploma in Administrative Procedures with ICT but will probably have to attend classes on both the Wednesday and Thursday. There may be an opportunity for work experience in the second semester which provides a practical insight into career possibilities in administration.
