Course Overview

The HNC in Animal Management (General) is designed to help students pursue or advance their career in Animal Management. In addition to the knowledge, understanding and skills that underpin the study of Animal Management, this course gives students an understanding of the breadth and depth of the sector, which will prepare them for further study or training. The course will help students to meet the demands of employers in the Animal Management sector and adapt to a constantly changing environment. The course will offer a balance between employability skills and the knowledge essential for students with entrepreneurial, employment or academic aspirations. Students will develop a range of transferable skills to ensure effective team working, organisational competence and problem-solving strategies. The course will cover a broad range of Animal Management Units ranging from Managing Successful Projects to Animal Nutrition.

UK Requirements

48 UCAS points. 5 GCSEs (Grade A* to C) or equivalent to include Maths (or Level 2 equivalent) and English (or Level 2 equivalent).
