Course Overview

This new C&G Diploma in Dental nursing is delivered in NWRC state of the art clinical dental suite. It is taught exclusively by professionals from the dental industry.You will address topics such as: • Emergency first aid • Preparing and maintaining environments, instruments, and equipment for clinical dental procedures • Providing chair side support to patients for a number of procedures • Management of oral health diseases. You will learn on the job in the work environment. Some assessment will take place in the workplace and will include a portfolio of evidence to meet the competence units in the qualification. There is one synoptic online test at the end of the course.

Important Message

Fees must be paid at the time of enrolment, or arrangements should be put in place to pay by instalments. The full fee includes tuition, registration and examination fees (where relevant). Depending on your circumstances you may be entitled to a reduced (concessionary) fee. Reduced fees are applied to the cost of tuition only. Failure to enrol before the Awarding Body deadline may result in you incurring a late fee.

Entry Requirements

UK Requirements

Students must either be already working as a dental nurse or attend work placement a minimum of 16 hours per week.

Additional Information
