Higher National Qualifications in Hair and Beauty Management provide a nationally recognised qualification offering career progression and professional development for those already employed in the industry or those wanting to progress onto the Level 5 HND Hair and Beauty Management course. The following subjects are typical examples of what you may study over the HNC & HND programmes; however, course content is regularly reviewed to reflect changes in the industry. Salon, Sales and Quality Management, Public Relations and Marketing, Research Projects, Project Design, Implementation and Evaluation, Management of Client Care and Health and Safety, Human Health and Nutrition, Physical Activity, Lifestyle and Well-being, Hair and Scalp Specialist Services, Employability Skills and Work Experience. *Some units will be delivered via blended learning. Progression routes include salon management, progression to HND Hair & Beauty Management, hair & beauty educator roles and specialist further higher education programmes.
