Course Overview

This is year 4 of a 4 year course on electrical installation. During this year candidates are required to complete an e-portfolio to the required standard by accounting for work they are doing on site. The course requires 1 day per week in college (This may be subject to a reduction at college discretion). All candidates will be visited on site over the year for the purposes of ongoing assessment. Practical revision will also be provided to candidates as required in preparation for AM2.

Important Message

Fees must be paid at the time of enrolment, or arrangements should be put in place to pay by instalments. The full fee includes tuition, registration and examination fees (where relevant). Depending on your circumstances you may be entitled to a reduced (concessionary) fee. Reduced fees are applied to the cost of tuition only. Failure to enrol before the Awarding Body deadline may result in you incurring a late fee.

Entry Requirements

UK Requirements

Candidates must be employed in the electrical installation sector and must have completed year 1, year 2 and year 3 of this course successfully.

Additional Information

Candidates must provide their own safety footwear and overalls / work trousers. assessment / exam fee. The AM2 practical assessment is hosted by the Electrical Training Trust (ETT) and will be scheduled over the last quarter of the academic year.
