Start your career in the nail industry with this Level 2 Award in Manicure & Pedicure, this is a great starting point covering basic care of skin and nails on hands and feet, including the use of luxury treatments such as oil and paraffin wax. Successful completion of this course leads to further study in LED Gel polish, Nail Art and Artificial Nail Technology courses. This Manicure and Pedicure course covers the fundamental treatments offered by nail technicians, typically carried out prior to any enhancing nail service, creating a smooth base and enhance both the health and appearance of the nails. Not only improving the appearance of the nails, also you will be taught a specifically designed massage treatment for the hand/arm and leg/foot. Applicants will receive guidance on kit and uniform requirements before commencement of course. Students who do not hold a qualification in health & safety will be required to undertake a small unit in health and safety related to the area of study
