Students undertake work placement over an extended period and contribute to the college online publication i-news.uk and college station 3CRadio as well as reporting on a range of college and external events using the latest Outside Broadcast equipment for Radio and TV.
Further StudyThis is a mainly post graduate programme. However students with a HND in Journalism who then complete the NCTJ qualification can apply to be accepted to the final year of journalism courses at a number of UK universities.
Career ProspectsGraduates are to be found working at the highest level in local and national media outlets including print, online, radio, TV and the associated industries of PR and Marketing. Employment rates for graduates are high and the industry is keen to use the skills which this course provides.
