Course Overview

The aim of this Award is to provide knowledge and understanding of providing shaving and face massage services. The skills developed will include shaving techniques and the use of different lathering products and face massage. Also it will provide knowledge to select suitable products and understand safety considerations when carrying out shaving and face massage services.

Entry Requirements

UK Requirements

Must hold NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Barbering and be currently employed as a Barber.

Additional Information

Learners who successfully complete this qualification will have the opportunity to progress to further vocational qualifications in hairdressing. It is anticipated that this qualification may lead to employment. Material fee of £60 also required for uniform and kit.
