Course Overview

The CIOB Level 4 Certificate in Construction Site Management is designed for supervisors and assistant site managers working in the construction sector who are progressing into a construction site manager role. This qualification develops the learner’s knowledge and skills to plan and programme projects, liaise with stakeholders and oversee small to medium construction projects safely and efficiently. The certificate is an acceptable qualification to gain the Academically Qualified Persons Card (AQP Card).There are 3 modules the learner will have to undertake for the Certificate. The Certificate can be gained after one year. The certificate is an acceptable qualification to gain the CSCS Black card for Site Managers.The content and level of the Level 4 Certificate in Construction Site Management has been comprehensively reviewed and the credits have been increased according to standard teaching regimes. Some units have been consolidated and it is now a three-unit Certificate

Entry Requirements

UK Requirements

Candidates should have a CV that shows that they have two years’ experience on a construction site with some general management responsibility. Mature students who have significant relevant work experience or other profession qualifications may be eligible for the course following a successful interview. GCSE grade C in both English and Mathematics will be required for progression. The College’s APEL process may be applied.

ROI Requirements

OLCs Grade 04 (or above) in both English and Maths or equivalent qualification will be required for progression.

Gaining this qualification can allow the learner to progress onto a L4 Diploma in Site Management.
