Course Overview

This qualification enables learners to engage in learning that is relevant to them and which will provide opportunities
to develop a range of skills and techniques, personal skills and attributes essential for successful performance in working life. It will allow learners to achieve a nationally recognised Level 3 vocational qualification and progress to employment. Over the course of one year learners will build a portfolio of evidence to achieve the qualification. Learners will attend placement within a school from Primary 3 to Year 12 for two days per week.

Additional Information

Many learners secure employment within a school setting shortly after qualifying. In recent years some have decided to continue their studies and progress to Level 5 qualifications within the College. They have found this course to be an excellent foundation to their continued learning.
