Course Overview

This course will be suitable for those wishing to work in or already employed in the Recycling Waste management Industry. The course offers the opportunity to study Level 2 Certificate for Sustainable Waste Management in addition to availing of additional courses in Essential Skills in Literacy, Numeracy and ICT. You will learn about H&S in the Waste Management environment, the Waste Hierarchy, The Circular Economy, Understand Productive Working Practices and learn how to maintain and preserve the environment. This course is offered on a P/T basis and may be 2 evenings per week or 1/2 day and 1 evening.

UK Requirements

It is anticipated that entrants to this course would have a good level of Literacy and Numeracy. Those having completed C&G Level 1 Award in Waste & Recycling may use as a progression route to Level 2 Certificate
