The OCN NI Level 3 Diploma in the Theory of Holistic Health and Complementary Therapies qualification has been designed to provide an understanding of how holistic health and complementary therapies contribute to an individual’s health/well-being. The qualification will provide the learners with an understanding of the requirements of practitioners in the areas of holistic health and complementary therapies. There are no formal entry requirements though it is expected that learners will receive appropriate advice and guidance regarding the level and suitability of the qualification and have a minimum level two qualification or equivalent.

The OCN NI Level 3 Diploma in the Theory of Holistic Health and Complementary Therapies qualification is recognised by UCAS, with 32 points allocated. This allocation is comparable to a Grade C at A Level (Applicants need to check with their University of choice to ensure they accept OCN Qualifications). This course could provide a platform to explore interests and further progression in the field of Health and Social Care and Holistic Health.
