Course Overview

This course is designed to act as a support for Art students in year 12 and 13 ( Lower and upper 6th) at school, Leaving Cert students and for those wishing to gain access to further and higher level courses in Art & Design. The course will enhance students knowledge of Art and Design disciplines and will help develop skills within a variety of Art and Design mediums. In order to achieve the L2 award you will be required to complete 2 units of study and will present a portfolio of work showing understanding of taught processes through out the course.

To enrol on this course you must be 16 on or before the 1st July 2020

Additional Information

Students will participate in a range of different Art and Design activities like drawing, Print, Life Drawing - when available, Graphic Design, Fine Art - painting, sculpture, over a 25-week period and will have access to the NWRCs high quality facilities.
