Course Overview

Are you unclear of your preferred career path? During an information session you will receive advice and guidance on both the Level 1 and Level 2 Work Skills programmes to enable you to choose a route which best suits your individual needs. Our courses provide opportunities to gain skills to help you progress into employment or on to further studies at the College. These qualifications focus on developing personal life skills, employability skills, essential skills in Literacy, Numeracy and ICT, skills for business enterprise and specialised crafts.At level 2 you will be given the opportunity to achieve the following qualifications: Certificate in Work SkillsThis includes:- Searching for a job- Career progression- Applying for a job- Planning an enterprise activity- Preparing for an interview- Running an enterprise activity- Interview skills Occupational StudiesThis may include the following:- Business Enterprise- Specialised Crafts and Animation- Essential Skills in Literacy,- Numeracy and ICT
