Makeup and Brows (Level 2 Award)

Material fee of £60 also required. Information on makeup & brow kits will be issued prior to course commencement. This course will equip you with the skills to provide professional brow enhancements and makeup services for special occasion and day makeup. You will learn how to shape the eyebrows to either remove eyebrow hair or create a new shape or to define the client’s natural shape. You will also apply tint to the brow to make the brows more defined. You will learn how to consult with the client for makeup and brow treatments, select products appropriate for the client’s skin type, colour and age. You will be able to apply a range of different techniques and use a range of different brushes creating a flawless look. This course is ideal for an introduction to makeup and brow services and/or for hairstylists/ nail technicians wishing to offer additional services in the salon Students who do not hold a qualification in health & safety will be required to undertake a small unit in health and safety related to the area of study
