Course Overview

This qualification is for those who wish to gain the specialist knowledge and practical skills required to work as an advanced technician / engineer in LGV and HGV maintenance and repair sectors; or to develop wider transferable skills for use across the whole retail motor industry. The aim of this Level 4 Certificate is to offer experienced technicians the opportunity to develop their knowledge of management principles, advanced fuel technologies, liaison skills, technical advice and support and diagnostic consultations with customers. Also, hones skills to Master Technician Level. This qualification also prepares students for progression to Level 5 in Automotive management.

Entry Requirements

UK Requirements

This qualification is ideally suited to learners with experience or knowledge of automotive vehicle systems, tools and equipment, vehicle maintenance, diagnostics and health and safety. Entry will also be given to those holding an automotive Advanced Apprenticeship or full level 3 automotive qualification.

ROI Requirements

This qualification is ideally suited to learners with experience or knowledge of automotive vehicle systems, tools and equipment, vehicle maintenance, diagnostics and health and safety.
