Course Overview

The VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Aromatherapy qualification will prepare you for a career as an aromatherapist. Units include: knowledge and understanding of complementary therapy concepts, business practice, anatomy, physiology and pathology for complementary therapies. You will also develop your understanding and practical skills to competently provide aromatherapy services.Throughout this qualification you will develop your knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy and physiology, health and safety, client care and essential oils. You will develop a range of technical skills enabling you to blend essential oils in a tailor-made fashion for each client and provide relaxing aromatherapy massage treatments using different massage techniques. You will also develop interpersonal skills that will assist you to communicate effectively with clients.

Entry Requirements

UK Requirements

Level 3 Diploma or Certificate in a holistic area such as; massage, reflexology It is expected that you will be currently working in the area of holistic/complementary therapies and have access to a range of clients.

Additional Information

This qualification will confirm your competence for employment as an aromatherapist. You will also be eligible to join a professional association and gain insurance as an aromatherapist.. Career opportunities as an aromatherapist exist in a variety of contexts, including: - Working in hospitals and care homes - Working in a commercial complementary therapy clinic, beauty salon or spa - Working independently/self-employed/mobile/home-based settings
