Course Overview

This qualification provides the underpinning knowledge and skills necessary for the purpose of carrying out a range of day-to-day bookkeeping routines and activities using a sub-divided double entry bookkeeping system up to trial balance stage. This qualification is aimed at learners who are considering a career as a self-employed practitioner as they will find the course invaluable, as will businesses owners who would like to be actively involved in the keeping of financial records for their business, as it gives in-depth coverage of manual bookkeeping systems used by businesses. Important Message

Fees must be paid at the time of enrolment, or arrangements should be put in place to pay by instalments. The full fee includes tuition, registration and examination fees (where relevant). Depending on your circumstances you may be entitled to a reduced (concessionary) fee. Reduced fees are applied to the cost of tuition only. Failure to enrol before the Awarding Body deadline may result in you incurring a late fee.

Entry Requirements

UK Requirements

The Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping qualification is specifically aimed at learners who wish to further their studies in manual bookkeeping and who want to gain a Level 2 qualification either from a point of previous practical knowledge, or having already achieved the IAB Level 1 Award in Bookkeeping.

Additional Information

Learners must pay an additional annual membership fee of £50.00 directly to IAB to be able to undertake their online test & assignments for this qualification. This fee is not included in the course fees. This annual membership will also cover the costs for online assignments or tests taken by the learner for any other IAB qualifications within the year.
