Course Overview

BTEC National qualifications are widely recognised by industry and higher education as the principal vocational qualification at level 3. If you have a keen interest in exploring real business practices, then this course is perfect for you. You will learn by completing projects, assignments based on realistic workplace situations and externally set and marked exams. The Foundation Diploma is a one-year programme which would suit learners wishing to top up existing qualifications for entry to Higher Education. The qualification carries UCAS points and is recognised by higher education providers as contributing to meeting admission requirements to many relevant business Foundation degrees and HNDs.The Extended Diploma is a two-year, full-time course that meets entry requirements in its own right for learners who want to progress to higher education courses in business areas before entering employment. It can also support learners who want to progress directly to employment in job roles in business or business management and the Higher-Level Apprenticeships in Business, or Accounting.
