UK Requirements
Applicants must have achieved a Level 2 Diploma in Construction, OR 4 GCSEs (Grade C or above). Applicants must also have achieved GCSE English and Mathematics at grade C or above.For ROI Applicants; Applicants must have achieved 4 OLCs (Grade 05 or above) to include Mathematics and English; OR Leaving Cert Applied - Merit.Additional Information
Successful completion of this course will allow you to progress to Higher National Diploma, Higher National Certificate or relevant degree courses within NWRC. You can also progress to university to study in areas including Architecture, Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Planning, Building Services Engineering and construction/ Site Management, however, this may require study of an additional level 3 qualification to achieve the required UCAS points.
The course will also provide opportunities for you to progress directly into employment at technician level in areas such as architecture, quantity surveying, building services or civil engineering. You could also potentially work for building contractors as a site engineer or construction manager trainee.
