Depending on your circumstances you may be entitled to a reduced (concessionary) fee. Reduced fees are applied to the cost of tuition only. Further Study
This is a mainly post graduate programme. However students with a HND in Journalism who then complete the NCTJ qualification can apply to be accepted to the final year of journalism courses at a number of UK universities.Career Prospects
Graduates are to be found working at the highest level in local and national media outlets including print, online, radio, TV and the associated industries of PR and Marketing. Employment rates for graduates are high and the industry is keen to use the skills which this course provides.Additional Information
Graduates are to be found working at the highest level in the BBC, Irish Times, Belfast Telegraph, Irish News and Newsletter as well as Highland Radio and a range of weekly newspapers. Others have gone on to careers in PR, Marketing, magazines and teaching. The course is taught by industry professionals in facilities which mirror the highest professional standards including a TV studio, two radio studios and Outside Broadcast facilities for radio and TV. Students are taught everything from interview skills to video editing, radio production, court reporting, law, social media practice and writing skills.
