Course Overview

This course is aimed at learners wishing to develop an understanding of basic photographic processes and will also allow learners to develop their understanding and skills in manipulating images. To be awarded the Level 1 Award in Photography, learners are required to successfully complete two mandatory units. - Unit 1 - Use a camera to capture creative images, Unit 2 Digital image manipulation. A portfolio of work will be submitted at the end of the course and this will include written work.

This qualification is suitable for Learners aged pre 16+ and above. Learners must be 16 on or before the 1st July 2020

Additional Information

This course is aimed at beginners wishing to learn the basics of how to use their Digital SLR camera. All technical aspects of image capture will be covered to make the student confident with their camera as well as editing in Photoshop.
