Have you ever thought about a Career in Science?

NWRC’s Science Department is inviting you to their first-ever ‘Science for Grown Ups’ workshop.

The event, taking place on Thursday, April 28, is open to anyone aged over 18 considering returning to education, or anyone who wants to explore science as an alternative career pathway.

You don’t need any formal qualifications to attend.

Life and Health sciences have been identified as one of Northern Ireland’s priority skill areas, with demand for science graduates set to increase over the next 10 years. This event aims to provide a hands-on, fun, and practical science activities as a taster of what a career in science might be like. Have a chance to develop your skills in observing, measuring, recording, and discussing results from experiments in an enjoyable and interactive way – and experience what a day in the life of a science student would be!
