Meet our graduate Patricia Farren.
Patricia is now working full-time at Sammon Chartered Surveyors in Clarendon Street after completing the OCR L3 Certificate in Administration with ICT (Business Professional) (part time), at Strand Road campus.
The 34 year-old previously had her own business in Beauty however after the Covid lockdown she decided to think about a new career.
“I always wanted to work in admin,” she said. “I rang NWRC and they advised me what courses were available. I really enjoyed the course, it covered all aspects of administration work.
“I’ve now been working at Sammon for a month, Sammon were recruiting for an admin assistant and reached out to the college to enquire about students with the skills they needed.”
