Course Overview
This course is ideal for learners who want to start a career working with dogs in a professional grooming environment. It provides the practical skills, underpinning knowledge and professional behaviour required to work safely and confidently as a Dog Grooming Assistant in a salon or mobile grooming business.You will develop hands-on experience in preparing, bathing, drying and trimming dogs, while learning about dog behaviour, breed characteristics, health and safety, and workplace professionalism. Strong emphasis is placed on animal welfare, safe working practices and industry standards.What will you study?
