Course Overview

This course offers you the opportunity to experience a range of Fine Art Practices with a focus on Contemporary Fine Art, offering the chance to develop a personal visual language through exploration and experimentation with processes, materials and ideas. The course will expose you to contemporary practices within Fine Art including Painting, Sculpture, Printmaking, Digital multimedia and installation work and will provide opportunities for you to exhibit your work to the public. As a student you will develop the underlying knowledge and skills that will enable you to begin your journey in the Fine Art industry. Combining research, development and production, you will explore the knowledge, understanding and technical skills required to progress within the creative Industries sector. Throughout the course you will be required to reflect and evaluate your own personal and professional practice in the form of written submissions. The course will encourage you to develop as a professional self- reflective individual. This course requires independent study outside of the timetabled hours
