From the Shadows is an exhibition of wearable textile art created by NWRC Fashion and Textile students for Derry Halloween 2026. Inspired by folklore, mythology, nature, gothic influences, transformation and the supernatural, students explore the Halloween theme through imaginative materials and experimental textile techniques. Exhibited within the College’s Foyle Building foyer at the corner of Boating Club Lane and Strand Road, each piece presents an individual interpretation, transforming ideas from the shadows into striking wearable forms that celebrate creativity, craftsmanship and artistic expression. The exhibition is available to view during Derry Halloween event from Wednesday 28th – Friday 30th October 10am – 4pm at NWRC Foyle Building Foyer.
