NWRC has limited places remaining on the Level 2 Diploma in Medical Administration (full time) & Level 2 Award in Medical Terminology (part time) – you need to apply by this Friday (September 30).

A Diploma in Medical Administration allows you to start you career as a medical administrator or secretary.

The course is designed for those wishing to work as receptionists in any section of the health services, including general medicine and dental practices, hospitals, (including wards and medical records clerks), and opticians.

You will also take part in a period of work placement in a healthcare environment as part of your course.

The course runs over 3 days – Mondays: 9 am - 3.50 pm, Tuesdays: 9 am - 2.30 pm and Thursdays: 9 am -2.55 pm.

Students can also opt for the part time Level 2 Award in Medical Terminology which provides students with an in-depth study of medical terms; including common conditions associated with body systems along with the medical specialities and common prescription terms.

This part time course runs on Tuesdays from 10.30 am - 1.15 pm.
