With four dogs and one cat at home, a career in Veterinary Nursing was always on the horizon for Emily Wilson.

Emily, from Limavady had been working at Roe Valley Veterinary Surgery for ten years when NWRC began the Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing.

She said: “There is nowhere else in the North West that offers the Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing, and being from Limavady I couldn’t believe that I could study this at a college right on my doorstep.

“It’s a very intense course, but I love it, and this is definitely the career I want to be in. I would recommend this to anyone interested in becoming a Veterinary Nurse. I know it’s an extremely popular course and I’m delighted that I got to study it. ”
