Last Chance to Apply at North West Regional College

North West Regional College (NWRC) has limited places remaining on a number of full-time and part-time courses at campuses in Derry~Londonderry, Limavady and Strabane, and is running special ‘Not too late to start enrolment sessions’ across each of its three main campus locations on Thursday 21st September 5.00pm- 7.30pm

These last chance enrolment & information sessions will profile the course options beginning this month where places are still available, and are aimed at local learners who may still be undecided about the next step in their career, including those who have recently received GCSE results and others who had originally prepared for University but are now having second thoughts. The events will also profile the part-time day or evening classes which are still available, which can enable local people make a successful return to learning or perhaps climb the career ladder towards new employment. Places are still available on courses ranging from Level 2&3 Diplomas, Higher National Diplomas, Foundation Degrees, and Professional programmes.

There are many reasons why students choose NWRC. From the state-of-the-art learning facilities, to the expertise of the lecturing staff across the curriculum, the College has experienced a steady growth in applications in recent years, with students keen to gain practical qualifications that equip them for university or employment.

Many students this summer are celebrating having achieved the top results in the Level 3 Extended Diplomas – triple star distinctions – which equates to 420 UCAS points. Others are thrilled to have been accepted to the 2nd or final year of Honours degree programmes having successfully completed their HNDs and Foundation Degrees at NWRC

Across all course areas, students can make the most of the expertise and resources within the College to enhance their skills, from Care and Health to Early Years, Science, Business, Creative Arts, Sports, Hospitality & Tourism Computing, Engineering and so much more. The range of courses provide school leavers and mature learners with the opportunity to gain the qualifications, skills and experiences that employers are looking for.
