NWRC representatives were invited to a civic reception hosted by the Mayor of Derry and Strabane District Council Cllr Ruairi McHugh in recognition of the college being named as a recipient of the 2025 Queen Elizabeth Prize for Education.
The Mayor said: "From fostering local business partnerships to ensuring our students are ready for the workforce, the NWRC is truly a cornerstone of our community. The NWRC is not just a college—they are creating a future of opportunity for the entire North West."
