New courses to train the next generation in Emergency Services

North West Regional College has unveiled a number of innovative new courses at its campus in Limavady, designed to allow Further Education students to progress into careers in the Emergency Services, and Sport.
From September 2019 the college, which has two campuses in Main Street and Greystone, will offer the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma (equivalent to three A Levels) in Uniformed Services, Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport Development with IFA Football Coaching Academy, and Level 3 Extended Diploma Sport Development Outdoor Pathway. In addition, the college also has a combined Business & IT Course & new Medical Science Course starting in September.

The Level 3 Diploma in Public Services (two year course), is of particular interest to students wishing to pursue a career in the Police, Fire, Ambulance or Security Services, as well as the Armed Services, HM Customs and Excise and other emergency related organisations.
The Level 3 Sports courses are ideal for students wanting to develop their knowledge of the sports industry and are keen to pursue a career in Sports Coaching or PE Teaching.
