With exam results arriving, students across the North West are facing some of the biggest decisions of their lives.

For students like Ava, Hollie, Joshua, Raphael, Clare and Ada who enrolled at North West Regional College (NWRC), the right guidance made all the difference.

They are just six of the thousands of students who’ve found their path at NWRC, which has a long tradition of supporting local learners through every stage of their education journey. With campuses at Strand Road, Springtown, Limavady Main Street, Greystone, and Strabane, NWRC is an inclusive and encouraging environment with industry-standard facilities and expert staff.

Raphael Archibald from Limavady is an Art & Design student – and says his standout moment at the college was having his own exhibition at the end of year showcase. He’s now progressing to a Higher National Diploma.

Science student Joshua Johnstone studied the Adult Access Learning Diploma at NWRC before progressing to the Foundation Degree in Science. He was also awarded an SSE Higher Education Scholarship.

Clare Hamilton studied the Level 3 Diploma in I.T. and won a £20k Amazon Young Engineer Bursary before progressing to university.  Clare now runs her own business ‘The Influencer Hub.’

Light Vehicle Repair Apprentice Hollie Bradley also runs her own business Premier Autobody and was named as one of the ‘30 under 30s’ in Bodyshop magazine’s Rising Stars list.

Ada Doherty Grant is a phenomenal singer and rising star in the music industry – she will complete her Higher National Diploma at NWRC this year.

Ava Stewart from Strabane has just completed her Level 3 Diploma in Health Studies at NWRC, recently she won a top prize at the College’s Best in Further Education awards and is going on to study Nursing at Ulster University.

Whether your goal is employment, apprenticeships, or university, NWRC can help you get you where you need to be.
