WHY STUDY MEDICAL ADMINISTRATION AT NWRC?
Meet Sarah Jane McCloskey who studied the Level 2 Diploma in Medical Administration. Sarah joined the course after completing a diploma in Health Science because she wanted to progress to work in administration in a GP practice.

Sarah said: “Following on from the course I secured a job with Roe Valley Veterinary in Limavady, and from there I’ve progressed to my Veterinary Nursing at Limavady campus.

“My course in medical administration was the catalyst I needed to find the right career. The course taught me all the terminology I needed to know and gave me so much knowledge. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking to work in the administration side of Healthcare.”

With the Level 2 Diploma in Medical Administration, you can start your career as a medical administrator or secretary, helping patients and providing vital support for doctors and other healthcare professionals. This course is designed for those wishing to work as receptionists in any section of health services, including general medicine and dental practices, hospitals (including wards and medical records clerks), and opticians.
