Course: Access Diploma in Combined Studies

Meet Annie, a current final year student studying a Combined Studies Access (Adult Learning) Diploma at NWRC. She hopes to move on to a degree in Management at Queen’s University, Belfast.

My lecturers are so supportive and helpful, the course modules are enjoyable and there’s plenty of opportunities for students. After completion I plan to study Business Management at Queen's University Belfast.

Why did you choose to study an Access course at NWRC?

The College was highly recommended by friends and family for the great support provided to students and the outstanding courses delivered.

Tell us a bit more about your course

The Access Diploma in Combined studies is a course with mixed modules that allows students to progress to Higher Education. The first year was all about the basics of returning to study. In second year we get to choose from a variety of modules that interest us and those which are relevant to the course we wish to progress to. There are so many options available to us. I know students who are progressing to Nursing, Business, Paramedic Science and much more.
