HerFuture Programme
This 14-week programme is an employability programme empowering women to re-enter the labour market into aspiring supervisory or management roles. Those eligible may have been out of work or experienced a career break – through childcare, health or caring commitments. The programme will support their journey back into the labour market.
This programme is a potential route into employment with a placement built in. There is great demand for administration roles across all sectors and great opportunities for a progression route for woman into IT roles. This could be the break that you are looking for!

Details
Starting: Wednesday 11th February 2026
- Weeks 1 – 7 (9:30am- 2:30pm) Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
- Weeks 8 - 14 (Placement Tuesday & Wednesday, Time TBC) Thursday & Friday (9:30am- 2:30pm)
Location: Strand Road campus
Weekly Training Allowance: £150. **If in receipt of benefits please contact your job coach.
Information Session: Friday 16th January 2026 (9:30am-11:30am)
Eligibility
- Applicants to be 18 years or older at point of enrolment.
- Applicants must have a right to work and undertake training in the UK at the point of application and for the duration of the course and must not be disqualified from doing either by reason of their immigration status. Proof of this will be required to progress application. Prove your right to work to an employer: Overview - GOV.UK
- Individuals will be available to register in person at provider campus as required.
- Individual courses may have enhanced eligibility, details of which will be provided by the FE College.
UK Requirements
Minimum of GCSE English or equivalent, and knowledge of ICT particularly Microsoft Word.
