Qualification: OCN NI Level 2 Certificate in Induction to Working in Adult Social Care in Northern Ireland
Units include:
- Adult Social Care Worker - Responsibilities and Duty of Care
- Building Resilience and Self-Care to Address Challenges Associated with Working in Adult Social Care Practice
- Communication in Adult Social Care
- Continuing Professional Development in Adult Social Care
- Health and Safety in Adult Social Care
- Person-Centred Values in Adult Social Care
- Understanding Protection and Safeguarding in a Social Care Context
- The programme will incorporate masterclasses from health care professionals, employer sessions and career and interview workshops in preparation to enhance employability of participants.

Times: Tue 9am-4.15pm | Wed 9am-4.15pm | Thu 9am-5pm
Location: NWRC Strand Road Campus
Weekly Training Allowance: £150

Eligibility
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
- Applicants to be 18 years or older at point of enrolment.
- Applicants must have a right to work and undertake training in the UK at the point of application and for the duration of the course and must not be disqualified from doing either by reason of their immigration status. - Individuals will be available to register in person at provider campus as required.
- Individual courses may have enhanced eligibility, details of which will be provided by the FE College.
